Reify Creative was honored to be a creative partner at the 4th Annual “Connecting Students and Professionals of Color” event at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU).
We helped the SCSU Innovation Hub create new branding for the event. Our concept was bright and vibrant, giving a nod to the STEM color palette. The star motif gives attendees the sense that the event will help them make the connections they need to achieve their dreams.
In addition to the new logo, we produced a variety of assets for the event including event signage, social media posts, digital signage, and a new digital program that eliminated the need for a printed program.
We’re also really excited about the State of Connecticut’s growing leadership in sectors like healthcare, technology and manufacturing. The event featured speakers from Pfizer, Boehringer Ingelheim and Assa Abloy, while guests from other big CT companies offered mentorship to students attending the event.
Reify Creative is a big supporter of concepts and ideas. What we’re not supporters of is political co-opting of concepts and ideas. Ideas should be a free market, and concepts shouldn’t be owned by any one person or group.
One of our favorite concepts is that of diversity, which sadly has become a politically charged word. We don’t believe in politicizing words. Diversity, to us, simple means variety. It means choice and freedom. It means creativity and expansion. We think diversity is beautiful and support not only the concept of diversity but our colleagues of color, who deserve to be treated as equals, always.
