It’s official! Reify Creative is now an award-winning agency.
We took home an Excellence Award at the 50th Annual Connecticut Art Directors Club Awards Show, held at Noir Event Space & Experiences in Bridgeport on July 25. The organization celebrated five decades of design leadership, while we celebrated winning our first award.
This award recognized our branding work for Southern Connecticut State University’s Innovation Hub and their Connecting Students and Professionals of Color event. We’re big supporters of diversity, equity, and inclusion, so we were pleased to help elevate this event. It has since been rebranded as “Bridging Pathways,” but remains an important annual gathering for SCSU students to learn about mentorship and networking in STEM fields and beyond.

About Our Work
In creating the design concepts for this event, we combined the cool blues of the SCSU brand with bright, vibrant colors inspired by STEM branding. We wanted to breathe life and excitement into this event with imagery evoking hope, success, and limitless potential.
Then, we created a variety of collateral pieces including:
- Printed programs
- Floor stickers
- Powerpoint presentation slides to be shown at event
- Event webpage
- Event signage
- Social media posts
Why This Matters
Beyond this recognition, this project is a good reminder of what we love most about what we do: using creative and tech to benefit the greater good. It’s also an important milestone in our development.
“We’ve experienced exponential growth in Reify’s nearly three years in business. But it was especially meaningful to receive our first design award,” says Founder Lisa Wright. “When I attended the Connecting Students and Professionals of Color event in 2025, it was awesome seeing the roll-up banners lining the entry hallway, and then seeing the work continue into the ballroom. Our relationship with SCSU continues to this day and they’re an awesome client who really cares about their students and where the industry is going.”
A Night 50 Years in the Making
Being recognized at CADC’s 50th anniversary show made the win extra special. The Awards Show has been the cornerstone of Connecticut’s creative community since the club’s founding, and it was an honor to celebrate alongside so many talented local designers, agencies, and studios who make this state’s creative scene what it is.
